Dork Diaries Once Upon a Dork

Nikki Maxwell hits her head in gym class and when she wakes up she finds herself in a fairytale world but strangely enough everyone there looks like someone she knows.Red Riding Hood looks like Zoey,Goldilocks looks like Chloe,The Wicked  Witch of the Wesr looks like Mackenzie, Prince Brandon looks like Brandon,The Wizard of Odd  looks like Principal Winston and more.

Nikki is trapped in a fairytale world.

Will she ever find  way out ?

I recommend this book for anyone who likes a funny and adventurous book.

Tigolaretah

The Tigolaretah has a head of a Polar Bear,the body of a Cheetah, the legs of a Tiger and the tail of a Dog.The Tigolaretah is a very rare species and can be found in dry,grassy plains where the Jaheelot lives.The Tigolaretah is good friends with the Jaheelot.

The Tigolaretah eats leaves and meat and it drinks water.It likes swimming and running.The Tigolaretah can survive 8 days without food or water.The Tigolaretah is a very fast predator.It eats any kind of meat like, Rabbits, Warthogs, Gazelles, Zebras and sometimes even Wildebeest.It can run away very fast to escape it’s predator.

It would be very rare to find a Tigolaretah.

Moment in Time

“Brrrrrrrmmm”,I turn around and see my cousin soaring through the air on his dirt bike.The sun is reflecting of his bright,white helmet.I can feel butterflies in the pit of my stomach rising up and up.My heart beats faster and faster.I’m really nervous because he could get hurt.

I look at his dad.His dad seems as calm as ever.If I were on that dirt bike I would be so scared.My cousins dad is wearing a light navy blue t-shirt and white pants with two patches of dirt on his knees.I look back at my cousin.I can see his shadow following and copying whatever he does.There is a trail of dirt following him.

I look at the ground.It is nothing but scorched brown dirt.The sun is shining warmly on my back.I look up.The sky is like a big blue blanket.The clouds are like little pieces of cotton floating in the sky.I look around.All the grass is a yucky shade of yellowish and brownish mixed together.

I can hear the birds chirping and I can see them flying high in the sky.I look back at my cousin.His number on his dirtbike is number seventeen.That makes me wonder.I wonder who invented numbers? Who invented words?How could someone say something if words weren’t invented?I really,really want  to find out someday.

Moment in Time

Whoosh! I can feel a light soft breeze blowing past me.I can smell the smell of freshly cut grass.The sun is shining warmly on my back.I look up and see a lovely shade of blue in the sky,almost hidden through the clouds.I can see the mountains in the distance going up and up,towering over lots of trees.

I can hear the birds chirping as they fly high over the marae.I look over at the manuhiri(visitors). They are crowded in a long,long line.I hope that they are looking at the carvings on the waharoa (gate).”Haere Mai E Na Manuhiri Haere Mai Haere Mai”.The Powhiri is starting.

Whoosh! Another gust of air blows past me.It cools me down.I drown out all the sounds and voices around me.I turn around and look up at the marae.I Wonder what the first ever Marae was called?Who built the first ever Marae?How long ago was it?20 Years?50?Id really like to find out someday.

Moment in Time

The wind whispers and brushes past my face. Leaves crunch and crackle under my shoes as I run to catch up with my cousin and his dad.As I run to them I can see fluffy,puffy white marshmallow clouds floating up in the sky with a beautiful shade of blue in the background.The trees stand straight up like soldiers.I can see my cousin talking to his dad.

His dad is saying how proud he is of his sons great game that day.My cousin says “Thanks dad”.They are both smiling cheerfully.I can hear the birds chirping happily.I go back to the conversation,my cousins dad says that he thinks his son should go into the fifa world cup.I wonder how many people in each country are allowed to play in the fifa world cup?Who decides which country gets to be in the Fifa World Cup?

Moment in Time

“Brrrmmm”,I can hear the sound of cars whizzing by.I turn to see the cars.All of the cars are just a big blur.I look up.White clouds cover the sky with little flashes of blue every now and again.I look down and see the shiny dark blue sea shimmering as it reflects of of the sun.

I look out in the distance and see a little wharf.I can just make out a little boat in the distance.”Ahhhhhhh”I can hear someone shouting behind me.I turn around to see who the shout came from.I see a boy who has just jumped of of a ledge.I freeze.My veins pulse.My heart beats faster and faster every second.My whole body tightens.I can feel sweat trickling down my face.

I am very scared.There could be rocks at the bottom.There could be sharks,stingrays,jellyfish, anything at the bottom of the sea.Sea?That makes me wonder.Its terrible how the sea levels are rising.How people are fleeing their countries from sea levels.They could drown if they stay in their country.There are also people who are fleeing their countries from war.We CAN help.We can help by letting more refugees into our country.

 Saturday ,21st November 2019, 6:o7 Pm Dear Diary, Its Minnie’s birthday on the 17th of december.I can’t wait.Shes having it at the wave pools and then me and lily are going to minnies house after the wave pools for a sleepover. Its going to be sooo much fun.I am going shopping with my dad next week on sunday to find a present for minnie.Got to go have dinner.Its mac and cheese.Toodles!

 Monday,23rd November 2019, 3:31 Pm Dear Diary, My mum said that on friday shes going to buy me a desk and swivel chair.I especially want a blue desk with white swirls.I , can’t wait to sit in my new swivel chair and draw.Bye!Bye!

 Friday,27th November 2019, 4:00 Pm Dear Diary,Right now i’m sitting in my new swivel chair writing all of this.My swivel chair is black and my new desk is blue with white swirls(I painted the white swirls on myself).Oh and at school today,our teacher said that were gonna have a secret santa on 11th December.Thts the last day of school.Bye!

Sunday,29th November 2019, 1:22 Pm Dear Diary, I bought Minnies present today.Guess what it is.Its a book (Minnies favourite book she’s been wanting )called Shine against Darkness and I got her a set of felt tips.I am wrapping it right now.Im wrapping it in wrapping that has stars and hearts on it.I absolutely love my new desk and swivel chair.Toodles!

 Tuesday,1st December 2019, 4:55 Pm Dear Diary, This sunday I’m going shopping for a secret santa.We all put our hands in the hat and picked out a name.I got Sandy Smith.She’s one of my friends.The present has to be $5 so I’m getting Sandy a smiggle pencil case.A purple one.She is crazy about purple.Me well I like Blue.On saturday Im going swimming with lily.I have to go do the homework Mrs Waters assigned me.Mrs Waters is my absolute favourite teacher in the whole entire world.She is super nice.Gotta go do that homework.Bye!

 Friday,4th December 2019, 5:07 Pm Dear Diary, I can’t wait to see what I get for secret santa.I’m so excited.Oh my Dad just called me.He said its time for dinner.We are having Roast with mashed potato and peas and corn.Gotta go.Bye for now.

 Sunday,6th December 2019, 12:30 Am Dear Diary, I had so much fun in the swimming pool yesterday.And I also bought Sandys present.The Purple pencil case just as planned. Shes gonna love it.I can’t believe that Minnie’s birthday is in 11 days.I can’t wait.Bye! I’m gonna colour in now.


 Friday,11th December 2019, 4:35 Pm Dear Diary, Yay!Yay!Yay! It was the last day of school today and we had secret santa.Guess what I got? I got a pack of rubbers.They are really cool rubbers though.And my secret santa was Lily.She knows exactly what I like.Minnie’s birthday is in 6 days.I really can’t wait.Bye!!
 
Monday,14th December 2019, 10:12 Am Dear Diary, I’m gonna go ride my bike with Minnie to the park in 5 minutes.It’s going to be really hard to not tell Minnie what I got her for her birthday.In 3 days its Minnies birthday.Yay!  Thursday,17th December 2019, 8:00 Pm Dear Diary, Right now i’m sitting in a bean bag at Minnies house watching a movie.Its Shine against Darkness The Movie.3 hours ago Lily,Minnie and me went to the wave pools for Minnies birthday.We went down the hydroslides and splashed around in the water.It was so much fun.And then Minnie opened her presents.She really liked my present.Minnies mum just came in and gave us some marsh mallows dipped in chocolate.Yummy!!!! She said we have to go to bed after this movie.Bye-Bye!
