Endangered Orangutan

Orangutan
Screenshot 2015-08-14 at 10.09.32 AM.pngOrangutans only live in Sumatra and Borneo which are islands in Indonesia and Malaysia. There used to be around 315, 000 Orangutans in the world but now there is less than 6, 600 left because of the production of Palm oil.

Orangutans are losing friends, family and their homes which is really sad.
Some products that have Palm oil in them are biodiesel, pizza dough, cookies, chocolate and lipstick.

Think about it, in a way you are destroying the Orangutan population.  You could help by trying to stop using products that have Palm oil in them. For more information look at the auckland zoo site.
